[ Fri, 8 Jun 2012 19:07:10 GMT ]

The smart bet says it's because video game makers are quietly getting ready for the big storm to come.

Twitter's 140 million users tweet over 400 million times per day
[ Thu, 7 Jun 2012 14:40:57 GMT ]
I currently follow 159 users on Twitter and I occasionally get overwhelmed by how much they tweet. It's intimidating to imagine that these tweets amount to only a tiny fraction of the 400 million or so tweets generated each day.

Foursquare is getting a snazzy redesign. On Thursday, brand-new versions of the location-based social networking service's apps are being released. What's changing? Well ... a lot. The app's basically been torn apart and rebuilt from the ground up. It no longer simply helps you share your location, but now actually guides you to new places.
