Tiny island has huge Web presence
[ Wed, 13 Jun 2012 19:02:17 EDT ]
If you're just an average Joe building your own website or blog, there are cheap options out there. One of the most popular is .tk. It's a country code top-level domain, similar to .ca for Canada or .fr for France. But .tk stands for a country you've probably never heard of. It's called Tokelau.

Apparently This Matters: Morning people
[ Fri, 15 Jun 2012 10:56:33 EDT ]
It was Tuesday afternoon when I found a trending article through Digg that seemed to explain why I'm not reaching my full potential for joy. And mind you, it had nothing to do with Pippa Middleton not returning my calls. Because that would be a very strange article for somebody to write.

Future brain implants could run on brain fuel
[ Wed, 13 Jun 2012 23:41:38 GMT ]
Research at MIT has produced a fuel cell that could power small neural implants with the same source of energy as the brain itself: glucose. This sugar-processing fuel cell could enable a new generation of self-sustaining medical devices.
