Ice Age baby mammoth on display in France

One of the oldest mammoths ever found, the baby mammoth Khroma, arrivesĀ at the Musee Crozatier in Le Puy-en-Velay, France. Khroma was discovered in 2009 in the Siberian Republic of Sakha (Yakoutia), and is being lent to France for an exhibition, entitled Mammoths and Co., which went on display at the museum on July 16, 2010..After tens of thousands of years under the Siberian frost, a baby woolly mammoth is taking a summer vacation in southeast France.
