Ten technologies that should be extinct (but aren't)

A typewriter is among those technologies still used to day, but should probably be extinct. This one belonged to Nobel Prize-winning author Ernest Hemingway. Would he have preferred a laptop with a word processor?Some technologies — such as fax machines, landline phones, and instant cameras — just refuse to die, despite better digital alternatives.
