Saudis give firms time to test BlackBerry system

Some Saudis are trying to sell their BlackBerrys ahead of a threatened ban on the smart phone's messenger service in the kingdom — but with few willing to buy, they're having to slash prices.Saudi Arabia's telecom regulator is giving mobile operators more time to finalize a deal to allow BlackBerry messaging to continue, staving off a ban of the service in the Arab world's largest economy.
