Android topples Symbian as top smart phone

Models pose with the new Samsung Galaxy S Android smart phone, one of several Android phones that use Google's successful mobile oeprating system.Google's Android dethroned Nokia's Symbian as the most popular smart phone platform worldwide in the last quarter of 2010, ending a reign that began with the birth of the industry 10 years ago.
