Astronauts begin first of two spacewalks

This photo, released Feb. 27, 2011, is a view of the aft portion of the space shuttle Discovery that was provided by an Expedition 26 crew member during a survey of the approaching shuttle vehicle prior to docking with the International Space Station Feb. 26, 2011. As part of the survey and part of every mission's activities, Discovery performed a back-flip for the rendezvous pitch maneuver (RPM).Two astronauts are taking a spacewalk at the International Space Station in order to install an extension cable and move a broken ammonia pump to a better storage location. .
