If intelligent aliens exist, what about God?

In 1973, a French singer, journalist and race car driver named Claude Vorilhon said he was abducted by aliens and was told the secrets of the universe. Vorilhon renamed himself "Rael" and began teaching that humans were created by aliens who were mistakenly seen as gods by our primitive forebears. If the existence of intelligent aliens becomes indisputable, experts say that would pose a philosophical challenge for at least some of Earth's religions.The discovery of intelligent aliens would be mind-blowing in many respects, but it could present a special dilemma for the world's religions, theologians pondering interstellar travel say.
