Distant star hosts two Earth-size planets

Dec. 20: NASA's Kepler mission discovered the first Earth-sized planets orbiting a sun-like star outside our solar system. Called Kepler-20e and Kepler-20f, the planets are not in the habitable zone. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.  (Nightly News)Scientists have found two Earth-sized planets orbiting a star outside the solar system, an encouraging sign for prospects of finding life elsewhere.
