Astronomers map vast web of dark matter

Recent observations show that dark matter in the universe is distributed as a network of gigantic dense (white) and empty (dark) regions, where the largest white regions are about the size of Earth's moon on the sky.Astronomers have created a vast cosmic map revealing an intricate web of dark matter and galaxies spanning a distance of one billion light-years.
