Space shuttle Enterprise lands in NYC atop jet

Space shuttle Enterprise, riding on the back of the NASA 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, lands at JFK International Airport, Friday, April 27, in New York. Enterprise is eventually going to make its new home in New York City at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.Space shuttle Enterprise took to the air Friday for the first time in more than a quarter-century, but the two-hour flight was also its last. Final destination? The Big Apple.
