[ Sun, 27 May 2012 15:28:51 GMT ]

In this frame grab from a NASA video, NASA astronaut Don Pettit (L) and Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, International Space Station Commander, enter the SpaceX Dragon capsule for initial inspections on May 26, 2012. The operation went smoothly and ahead of schedule. Dragon’s interior looked good and Pettit remarked on the vehicle’s new car smell. SpaceX has become the first private company to rendezvous with the orbiting lab. = RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE - MANDATORY CREDIT "AFP PHOTO / NASA" - NO MARKETING NO ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS - DISTRIBUTED AS A SERVICE TO CLIENTS =-/AFP/GettyImagesRather than kick their feet up this Memorial Day weekend, the astronauts aboard the International Space Station will be unloading cargo from the first private spacecraft ever to visit the orbiting lab.
