Iran's claims of monkey in space questioned

Feb. 5: Iran says that the construction phase of the country's new space launch center is almost complete. Meanwhile, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he's willing to be the country's first astronaut in space. NBCNews.com's Dara Brown reports.  (msnbc.com)Soon after Iranian officials announced they'd sent a monkey to space, close observers started wondering if the Iranians had been, as the saying goes, just monkeying around.
