The Apple iPad tablet is examined after its unveiling Jan. 27 in San Francisco. Versions of the device will be available with Wi-Fi only, as well as with a 3G chip for use on AT&T's wireless network.Some were surprised to hear that Apple's newest product, the iPad, will run on AT&T's network, which has drawn complaints from Apple iPhone users.  But the iPad's impact on the network  is not estimated to be what it was for the iPhone.
